Getting to Know the Inspector...
Hello, my name is Tony Cherpeski and I am the owner of Cherp Home Inspections. I want to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself. I am a member of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI), Environmental Solutions Association (ESA), and an affiliate of the Dayton Area Board of Realtors (DABR).

My number one priority is to educate YOU! My inspection of the home is not a pass or fail test, but rather a collection of information to determine the true, factual condition of the home. Whether the home is a newly constructed home or a 100 year fixer-upper, you will benefit from my inspection. Even if no problems are found, you now have a detailed checklist of all areas of the home and how to maintain the home. All reports are generated on a PDF and emailed directly to you. Paper copy can be generated at request.
My objective is to inspect homes with the highest quality standards possible. I also want to make the Dayton metropolitan area a safer place and to create a sense of community, goodwill, and trust with my constituents. My inspections will be a thorough visual inspection of property grounds, exterior, foundation, roof, plumbing, heating, electric, cooling, interior, garage, laundry, bathroom, and kitchen including a written report of all aspects inspected along with digital pictures. You will also receive a scheduled home maintenance list and instructional directions with a report overview of questionable areas and/or equipment within the home and property.
About Tony...
For the past thirty years, I've been perfecting my skills of a do-it-yourselfer. I possess hands-on knowledge of construction, equipment repair, carpentry, structures, electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and automotive. I am a self-motivator and consider myself a leader and a role model for others to follow. I am a trusted member of the community and have received the Kurt Vogal award for my high achievements in education and community service. I have been a resident to the Dayton area for 49 years and now reside in Fairborn for the past thirty years. I am an avid bowler with 83 perfect games and hold an average of 230+ left handed and an average of 205 right handed. I was part of the winning Dayton City Team event in 2002 and was a member of the all city team from 1999-2001, and am the Dayton area Singles Champion in 2009. Due to my lifetime achievements and voluntary contributions, I was inducted into the Dayton USBC Hall of Fame in 2018. I am a silver level USBC bowling coach and am a proud member of the Fairborn Bowl 10 bowling center coaching staff and youth traveling league coach. I also sponsor teams in the local youth baseball little league and support local school and university athletics. I feel that it is extremely important to pass the knowledge along; especially to the youth of the community. Being a positive role model and being a trusted member of the community is my highest priority.

I am looking forward to serving you in the education and search for your new home. Thank you.
